I am back again for another Magazine Monday (Okay, so it is Tuesday technically, our internet has been out since yesterday evening. I lost this post and wasn't able to redo it until today during my lunch hour, sorry for the delay!). I am pleased to bring to you an article from Martha Stewart weddings Fall 2004 that I keep going back to again and again for inspiration.
As many of you know, both the design and wedding worlds have an infatuation and deep appreciation for letterpress. I am new to this revival, but I am embracing it to its fullest. If I had my way and no budget, I would be using letterpress for everything paper (invitations, menus, save the dates, table cards, place cards, etc.) involved in our wedding. Unfortunately, we have a budget. I am oh so hopeful that I will be able to find a way to have a design I create for my invitations printed via letterpress. I have found some affordable options, so we'll see! A girl can dream, can't she?
Needless to say, I think this feature on letterpress is stunning. Click each image to view larger. {These are a bit bigger than last time so you can see the gorgeous details.}

Fabulous, huh? Makes me anxious to start mocking up some invites. Additional information from MSW can be found here.

Are you considering Mercurio Brothers based out of California? I had our invites letterpressed from a custom design. They have been so great to work with but it does take 4-5 weeks. Our invites shipped yesterday so we are anxiously awaiting. Good luck!

I've seen several wedding bloggers who've used Mercurio Brothers, and eveyone has been THRILLED with their results. We are using them for our own December wedding.
